This Period Close Advisor (PCA) provides your organization with guidance on recommended period end procedures for E-Business Release 12.x. It is not specific to any organization or industry. If you are using more than one sub-ledger application such as Oracle Receivables, Oracle Cash Management, then you can take advantage and  follow the step by step approach to close the sub-ledger applications. For example, Oracle Cash Management needs to be closed before you close Oracle Receivables, as your bank reconciliation in Oracle Cash Management will create miscellaneous receipts in Oracle Receivables. The PCA includes sub-ledger application tabs, listed in the recommended order of closing and based on data flow dependency, as well as across the sub-ledgers to close a period.
