How shop floor quantity is updated without using Pick list (shelf replenishment)

 Hi,
I want to know that how shop floor quantity is updated after receiving.

We are not using any kind of pick list or shelf replenishment but yet there are items (more than 1000) which are having positive quantities in SHOP_FLOOR_QUANTITY bucket in RK_STORE_ITEM_SOH table.

As far as my knowledge the shop floor quantity is updated only and only when we use pick list (shelf replenishment) functionality. 

But we are not using this functionality and the tables rk_pick_list   and rk_pick_list_line_item are empty in our SIM database.

Please help on this.
