Unable to Uninstall Oracle 11gR2 -- Error FATAL INS-32025

Hello experts, I need your help. We are trying to deinstall the Oracle 11gR2 Database Software on Linux 86x64 machine. We do not have the deinstall tool from Oracle downloaded, so we tried the $ORACLE_HOME/deinstall ./deinstall command and put in the correct parameters and it indicated that the deinstall was successful. However, when we went to try to install Oracle software, it gave the FATAL INS-32025 error. There is nothing in the ORACLE_HOME directory. Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks.
