End of aisle turns

Hello,
Is there a specific way to model end of the aisle turns in WMS.  We have a need to minimise end of aisle turns in a narrow-aisle warehouse.  Right now, we use only the seeded picking rules but I believe if we define the picking locator properly, we can ensure that by the time the picker reaches the end of aisle with a full load, the earlier putaway has been cleared already.
