How to restore the Recovery Catlaog itself

Hi,

we are taking daily full backup of our production database using recovery catalaog.

recovery catalog exists on a different server and HP Data Protector is being used to do the hot backup. in this case if we lose the catalog, all the related backup info will be lost.

I want to know if we can include the catalog's backup to the daily full backup and in case we lose the recovery catalog how can it be restored back.
