What is Oracle's release/upgrade/patching policy regarding Oracle VM?

Need information about ORacle VM release/upgrade/patch management. Cannot find it on any Oracle site inncluding mysupport. E.g. where do the 3 digits of the version numbers stand for, sucurity updates, etc. Announcements future releases, etc
