Suppliers marked One Time on Classification tab

Does anyone use the One time field for suppliers in Oracle 11.5.10? And if you do, what does it do?   

In the supplier form, under the classification tab you can check the One time field.  When you use the flashlight to search, you can select One Time - Yes or No and it brings back the same number of suppliers.  We created several suppliers with the same name, differenct cities, ie, Hilton Cleveland, Hilton Akron, Hilton Sandusky and only one had the One Time field checked on the Classification tab, however, when you try to search on one time supplier only, it brings back all three.
