Embdedding of weight in barcode of weighted items

In our current implentation, it is observed that barcode of weighted items need weight embedded in the barcode rather than price which is the default behavior of the ORSIM framework.
Since the retailer is using frequent price changes, it is desired that weight be embedded in the barcode, in order to avoid frequent re-tagging of items and also that ORPOS is able to derive the accurate price of the weighted item based on the unit price.

Do let us know how this can be achieved in ORSIM and whether there exists some support for the same already.
