Report showing opportunities containing 2 specific product groups

Hi, I thought the request by my boss to create a report showing only opportunities that contained products from 2 different specific product groups
would be easy to construct, I was wrong. Can you please help, I believe I have tried everything to bring in just the opportunities that contain
products belonging to the 2 different product groups only, but I cannot get that to happen.
With fields in the opportunity, it's easy to do, but does not seem to work the same way with products.
Any advice would be very welcome, thanks.
