EM Database control and ASM instance

Dear All,

I have started learning ASM and need some clarifications.

I have created an ASM instance on existing database but not yet migrated the file system of current database to ASM storage.

In order to use the ASM instance in Enterprise Manager Database Control (not the grid control) do i have to migrate the
file system of current DB to ASM storage..?

If YES, then what are the steps to configure ASM instance with EM database control.

If no migration of current database file system to ASM storage is required then what are the steps to configure ASM instance with EM database control.
