SIA 8.0 to SIA 8.1 Upgrade question for Repository Merge Step

Hi,

We are in the process of upgrading SIA 8.0 to SIA 8.1.x

We were able to complete the upgrep and the repository merge steps successfully.

We have not started the post merge utilities.

My question is related to the conflict resolution over ride process.

If we want to over ride the default merge resolution what is the correct time and way of doing it?

Is it correct to do the merge resolution override:

1. BEFORE running the post merge utilities?

2 AFTER running the post merge utilities?

3. AFTER post merge utlity is run BUT BEFORE running the upgphys

4. AFTER upghys?

In the documentation it is mentioned that the merge utitlies can be run multiple times. But it is not clear if it needs to be run everytime the conflict resolution override is done or it is irrelevant.
