US PAY: Costing State Taxes by Jurisdiction - How do I accomplish this?
Our company wants to capture costing details by state for SUI and SIT. They have a separate GL account for each and every state.
Question 1: How do I set this up? Do I need to create (50 x 2 )different elements? If so, do I disable the Vertex SUI_ER?
Question2: Even if I create separate elements for each and every state, how do I link this to the employees? How does vertex know that I have create different elements?
I do have a document (Oracle HRMS Enterprise and Workforce Management Guide (US)) that explains creating a new segment under Cost allocation flexfield called "State Code". I tried this and it is not working. I dont know how to map the GL codes to the Jurisdiction codes?
