Updating po_lines_all table using POXPOPDOI

Hi,

     Try to update po_lines_all table using POXPOPDOI creating new po line.  How to update line without creating a new line? Trying to update note_to_vendor field.

I can not do a direct update on base table.  Trying to use  POXPOPDOI
