How to handle oracle streams when a database switchover occurs?

edited Apr 2, 2012 10:07PM in GoldenGate, Streams and Distributed Database (MOSC) 2 commentsAnswered
we have two databases A(source) and B(target) databases on the same server and streams are configured between these databases(Local Capture).Dataguard has been configured for A(primary database) database. And we have physical standby database at different site on different server also  the streams are configured between the physical standby database(A database) and B database here also.If the primary database becomes unavailable, standby database can be switched to the primary role,in this scenario will the streams work automatically in a normal way as they were working on primary or any manual intervention is required?

Howdy, Stranger!
