Restrict changing of Order Number whenever order type is changed

 Hello,

Is there a way to restrict changing the order number whenever an order type is changed?

Steps:

1. Create an order, just the header & save the order (entered status). Order type in the saved order is "A"

2. Order number is generated (lets say 100)

3. Change the order type to "B" & save the order

4. Order gets saved, but order number skips to 101.

Want the ability to change the order type from A to B after saving the order, but do NOT want the order number to change

Document sequence used is AUTOMATIC.

Processing constraints restrict changing order types AFTER booking or when using GAPLESS sequence.
