US PAY: Florida 2012 Unemployment Compensation Tax Changes.

On March 28, 2012 the Florida Governor's office signed a bill reducing the State Unemployment taxable wages base from $8500.00 to $8000.00 for 2012.  This change is retroactive to January 1, 2012.  Please refer to the "2012 Unemployment Compensation Tax Rates Fact Sheet" at http://dor.myflorida.com/dor/taxes/pdf/ut_taxrates_factsheet.pdf for additional details.
