T5220 running 5.10 system console hung

I cant seem to figure out how to get the system console to respond to keystrokes. We use Amity devices to keep root login access limited to console only. But once I get to the server console I have no root login prompt or cursor. Just a blank white screenthat wont respnd to any key commands. Thanks for your help!
