I have moved several databases to a new server and began to get ora-4031 errors in 8 of the 10.2.0.3 databases. I have not gotten any errors in the 9.2.0.6 or 10.2.0.5 databases. These databases ran on the previous server for years with the same spfiles and had no issues. Also, not all of the errors happened immediately. Some started within an hour of bringing the database up on the new server and others took several days. The main difference in our servers is we went from Solaris 10 5/08 to Solaris 10 8/11. Does anyone have any idea why these ora-4031 errors might have started?
