ASM password file name not including the instance name but usinf the ASM db_unique_name

Hi,
We just installed 11.2.0.3 GI in a 2 nodes cluster environment.

We let the OUI create the ASM disk groups during the installation and it works fine.

But I noticed that the ASM pasword file under the GRID_HOME/dbs/  is orapw+ASM    on both nodes .
I was expecting orapw+ASM1  on node 1 and orapw+ASM2 on node 2.

Is it normal the ASM password file don't use the instance_name but rather the db_unique_name to form it's password file ?
