Data Migration of Database from 11.1.0.7 to 11.2.0.3

Dear All,

Thank you in advance for your assistance and advice...

We have an existing server  running a  11.1.0.7 database  running RHEL ver 5

I am installing Oracle Ver 11.2.0.3 under RHEL Ver 5 on a new server.

We want to test our existing applications on this new server and I would like to migrate the database to the new server.

The databases on the new server have not been created yet, installation is still in progress.

I am preparing for the next stage, i.e. to migrate the database to this new server.

I had this in mind:

Create the database using the same tablespace names and datafile names.
