Migration from Oracle Database 11g R2 RAC on HP-UX to Oracle Database Appliance

 Hi,

One of our customer is running their Production Database on a Two Node Oracle Database 11gR2 RAC on HP-UX environment. Its a very important Production Database for the client's users with nearly 1000 concurrent connections.

They are interested in Oracle Database Appliance and want to know from us if its feasible to migrate to an Oracle Database Appliance environment running Oracle Database 11g R2 RAC.

I am not sure if its worth doing this as the client is already running their Production environment on a stable platform and anyways Oracle Database 11g R2 is supported till 2018. 

Please let me know your suggestion on this.
