defining key flexfields beginning of the project

in Human Capital Management - EBS (MOSC) Question
I have taken over as the lead for HRMS/Payroll project.  Finance is scheduled to go live in August while we are not until 2013.  I'm quickly trying to perform some analysis to determine if the structure will work with ebs and finance.  Does anyone have suggestions on potential conflicts or likely changes that will be made to the key flexfields for both HR and Finance?  Any resources to help the business make this descision?
