Regarding Order Management Scenario
In a B2C Model, In case I am to implement an ERP system, I have few queries as mentioned below
For ex: Let us consider we have a Ice Cream shop. A customer comes and orders an ice-cream. We then ask him for which flavour he wants and eventually give the one which he has ordered for.
If we were to map this scenario to Oracle Apps, say we create a sales order for that ice-cream order. Then once the order is booked, do we need the pick-release step in between?
Because in the scenario mentioned above I do not pick the item and move it to a staging sub-inventory. Can I not directly ship the items?
