PAY: Moving from Monthly to Biweekly payroll period

Does anyone have experience with converting a contingent of employees from a monthly to a biweekly payroll? I know that I generally have to create a new payroll and mass-move everyone there. Does anyone have a more detailed process to follow for this? I'd greatly appreciate it!
