Accounting setups > subledger accounting> System Options ? # of processors

company uses default settings   Processors = 1
                                                    Unit size records  = 1000

 Same for  all applications 

 Looking to improve month end processing especially in Fixed assets

If there are 5 processors available , what is optimal size for data throughput?

I could not find any reference text in Implementation guides for GL, AP, SLA  etc

Any suggestions ?
