Oracle Data Guard on Window system

Dear Oracle,

An Oracle Data Guard system was on Windows 2008 servers, with a primary database server box and a physical standby server box.

There were not any problems on the two databases. All data files localed at each server were same.

I was thinking about failover of Data Guard.

Since database will write/read files on hard drive of server, how to make identical directoires/files on the two servers?

I have to use a mapping drive? If a mapping drive comes another Window system,  I will have one more server be worry about.

Any other solutions?

Thank you

Liz
