How do you get report data in the Footer Section?

I'm using the BIP "plug-in" for Word to create an RTF document with a footer section.  I have a table with line items above the Footer section.  I'm using the <?start:body?> <?end body?> syntax to define the Footer as everything below the <?end body?>.  But when I insert a data field into the Footer, the Footer always contains the value from the very first record.  Not the data from the record I want.  How do I "reload" the footer with the correct parent record information?

I have looked at the BI Publishers Users Guides at the Header and Footer areas.  The guide doesn't help at all.  I have also looked at the Samples given and they don't help either.

Howdy, Stranger!
