Processor Sets on Zone Clusters

I recently configured processor sets for my my Zone Clusters(ZC) but have had mixed results with the implementation.

I am running DB2 instances in each ZC and configured the Psets with "interrupts" disabled.  When I do this DB2 will not start in the ZC.  It seems I have to have at least one(1) processor core enabled for interrupts in order to start DB2. 

Are there any recommendations or best practices for utilizing Processor Sets within ZC systems with DB's??   Thanks!
