Connecting more than one Exadata to a 7000 series storage appliance via Infiniband cables

I have a single Exadata 1/4 rack connected to a 7420 Storage appliance via Infiniband.

I have two more Exadata 1/4 rack machines I want to also attach to the same 7420 via Infiniband cables.

Since typically the same private IP 192.168 addresses are assigned when an Exadata is built, I had to change the subnets for my prod and dev Exadata machiens so avoid possible conflicts.

My first attempt to connect my dev Exadata to the 7420 went well (I was albe to ping the 192.168.18.x IPs from the db nodes but at the same time, my NFS mounts that were already operational on my QA Exadata lost contact with the 7420 and hung.
