Generic Alert Log Error Metric

Hi Guys

It seems as if my Generic Alert Log Error Metric only works when it wants to.

There's 2 parts to the problem I am experiencing:

1. Grid doesn't send any emails for the Generic Alert Metric.

2. Grid doesn't always pick up the error messages in the alert log. If I check the Alerts in the databases home page in Grid, they don't show.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
