A Planning Formula vs an Essbase Formula

I created the formula below directly into an Essbase member.  It works fine!  When I put the same formula into Planning in the same member, it will not verify.  Why?  It is the same.

Formula:
"TOT_MED_EXP" -> "Dollars" / "Premiums" -> "Dollars";

Error Message from Planning:
Error compiling formula for [] (line 1): unknown member name ["TOT_MED_EXP"] in function [operator @X]
