How do you end date a PTO Accrual Plan?

Hello,

One of our PTO plans will be going away due to the employees moving to a two on and two week off.  We need to end date the plan but when I try to end the element link I receive an error ORA-01403.  So I am wondering how do you end date a PTO plan so it no longer accrues for the employee and get the element off of everybody's element entries screen?  We don't want the accrual to show up on the pay stub.
