R12 Upgrade Impact to Workflows

Hi,

What is the impact to a workflow by an upgrade?  WIll all customizations be lost?

In the case of workflows where there aren't customizations, is there anythign else that needs to be done in terms of profile settings or other configurations to allow such workflows to work under release 12?

Do you have any notes or information or how to transition 11 to 12?
