Is it possible to change the printing order of Payroll checks?

Q – Is it possible to change the printing order of Payroll checks?

A – Yes. The data sequencing of payroll checks can be changed to print in any order needed (i.e. Alpha Name, Home Company, Check Route Code, Business Unit, etc). The data sequencing can be changed for P06231 - checks, P06233 - auto deposits, and P06237 - check attachments.

It is important to note that Check Control Number and Subsequent Check Control Number must always be the last two data sequencing items.

As is applicable for any changes made to any print checks specifications, it is important to note that all of the net pay documents should use the same naming convention in order for the system to recognize which version to use for Net Pay Document creation. For this reason, all net pay forms should be named with the same name as the Payroll Checks version. The P06231, P06233, P06235, P06237, and P06238 should all have versions with the same name.

Howdy, Stranger!
