passwd_age in pin.conf

Hi All,
Need to understand how cm passwd_age in pin.conf works.

I commented the entry in pin.conf but still able to login as a CSR in pricing center & CC, so wanted to understand what is the difference when the entry is commented & when its not.

Secondly if I want to set it to infinite i.e. CSR password shouldn't expire at all. How can I do that?
