R12 Credit Memo Approval Limit

This is my understanding that the Credit Memo Approval limit defined in Receivables only works with iReceivables, correct?  When I created a Credit Memo in Receivables, it will not consider the approval limits defined for Credit Memo, but will consider Adjustments and writeoff.

Please confirm.
