Ability to send text messages from siebel

Hi,

Is it possible to send text messages from siebel application to users mobile phones ? ex.. when a SR is created / closed or when a SR is escalated etc. If anyone implemented the solution of texting from siebel to mobile phone, please help me with some documention that sheds some light on techincal, infrastructure aspects.
