Monitoring template

I am using 11.2 grid control to monitor the databases, by default it uses the Oracle provided monitoring template, but I want to customize the monitoring template for the dev/test and production databases.
How to create customized monitoring templates for use in the enterprise and apply them to two or more groups, say one group for dev/test databases and another group for production databases.
