Tax line Inherit Cost Centre form distribution line

Hi,

I have a requirement to auto populate the tax line with the cost centre from the associated distribution line (AP and AR).

Please can someone advice whether Sudledger Accounting or Tax Rules is the best way of achieving this? The tax rules does not not seem viable as cost centres change regularly and would mean alot of maintenance.

If anyone has come across this or has a sugeestion, would really appreciate it.
