Start eConfigurator session without order creation for SelfCare

Hi,

In my project there is idea to use Siebel eConfigurator for SelfCare (integrated with Siebel) user sessions.
My questions are:
Can I start eConfigurator session without creating order?
Can I run many concurrent  sessions like above?
Is there possibility to run econfigurator  separated from  CRM application in scalable way?
