Calculating resource requirements for non-bottleneck resources
We have a production process that has two steps:
Routing 1 produces subassembly SA in resource X
Routing 2 produces final assembly FG in resource Y, and consumes subassembly SA
Resource X belongs to resource group MAKE, and resource Y belongs to group PACK
We want to run an MPS plan in ASCP, where Y is a bottleneck resource and X is a non-bottleneck resource. We want to generate resource requirements for both, in order to be able to pass work orders at both resources to PS.
Is this possible?
We have tried running the following ASCP plan:
- Production Plan (MPS)
- Constrained without detailed scheduling
