Oracle Apps OA Framework development question

For Oracle Apps 11i OA Framework developers: (11.5.10-2 ATG-RUP7)Is there anyway for OA Framework to distinguish between multiple browser tabs? We've run into issues when the same user launches the same OAF page in multiple browser tabs and is performing different operations in both tabs at the same time. This might be related to the browser using the same cookie across all the tabs.
