Similar to dashboard customizations within My Oracle Support – you also have the ability to adjust your search preferences.  Customers logged into My Oracle Support can set basic options for searching and displaying results.  And, these search preferences apply to all searches.

Here's a quick review of the options that you can set (and change whenever you like).  The settings are located in the Knowledge Preferences section of the Settings tab and grouped into four categories:  Search Term Suggestions, Search Intent Clarification, Search Result Length, and Searched Sources.

The options include the following capabilities:
     • Switch Search Suggestions on/off and specify 5 or 10 (default) suggestions.  Think: type-ahead functionality.

Howdy, Stranger!
