Delete unused recurrences

 Hello Gurus,

     I have a situation in my system where in the recurrences count has reached 300 due to which the users ae getting warning messages like  "Maximum number of records found matching specified key(s) -- Others not included in list (4,2)" while starting Processes.

      After deleting couple of unused recurrences ( I know those recurrences are not used as they were created wrongly by me), the users are happy as they are not getting the warning. 

   I tried to increase the "default rows in Search results from 300 to 400" at (PeopleTools --> utilities --> Adnministration --> PeopleTools Options) even then no success.
