UNSPSC codes

Hi,

I have few questions on UNSPSC categorisation as follows:

What is the best approach to deal with UNSPSC categories. Is it good to setup as purchasing categories or it is better to have internal purchasing categories and map it to UNSPSC categories in the XML gateway/exchange for punchout purposes.

If we have our purchasing categories as UNSPSC 8 digit codes, does it provide flexibility in the Punchout process, i.e. does it automatically gets mapped to supplier categories (UNSPSC).
