US PAY: Reconciling reports with the W2 register
I work as a Business Analyst and a user sumitted to me the following question:
In reconciling W2 YTD activity through 3/31/2012, the Medical ER total per the element result list does not agree with totals on the JEA and SJRPP W2 Register Box 12DD. Is there detail from the W2 Register that can be reviewed to isolate the difference in the two figures?
I then thought okay, "I will try to have the user run several reports to assist with the reconciliation process". I had them run a deductions reports, a few custom reports (HR Element Pay Values, Costing Detail Report, Payroll BCBS Recon Report). But none of the reports match the totals in the W2 register. Any suggestions to help me assist this user?
