Web Center Analytics

Is there a possibility to have a webcenter portal application that does not use any document service, discussions, portlet; all it uses is task flows and fragments and a few jspx pages. Can we capture the events on command buttons that are part of fragments using analytics service?The documentation talk about usage of analytics service for spaces and portal application where we are using document, discussion, portlet services for which there are analytics task flows available. What if we are not using these services? We did try the client and server listeners but that takes care of events at the
