Q - Is there a way to check the Logicals files for a physical and make sure they are correct?

A- Yes. You can use the IBM Command  Display Data Base Relations (DSPDBR) .

     At the long command line keyin DSPDBR and prompt with the F4 key.

     next keyin the physical file you what to review and press enter.

Example:  Employee Pay Instruction file F06106.
