How to determine why a component will not start

I have several zones running in a two node clustered environment.  I had to shutdown both nodes recently.  The majority of the zones come up just fine, but there are two zones where the zsh component will not start. The only error that I get is "Start Failed".  How do I determine what the problem is, and how do I fix it?
