How to uncheck Depreciate_flag to stop asset get depreciated.

Hello
I have requirement to un check the depreciation_flag for 1000 assets, is there any api or standard process available to un check the depreciation_flag to No.

I even not able to uncheck it from the application, is there any limitations?
